Stellar Media Project Wins Prestigious Public Relations Award
Stellar Media has won First Place for Multimedia in the annual Best of the Mountains competition sponsored by the Public Relations Association of Western North Carolina (PRAWNC).
The award is for a 90-second animation produced for Buy Haywood, a non-profit that is promoting the produce of Haywood County farmers. Press about the animated video helped increase Buy Haywood’s website traffic by 500 percent.
“We love it when a client wants to be creative with a project,” said Stellar Media President Eric Larson. “We ran with this idea and it turned out great. I’m so glad PRAWNC appreciated it, and we’re honored to accept this award when so many other area companies are also doing fine work in multimedia.”
The Best of the Mountains Award Ceremony took place April 24, 2008, at the Crest Center in Asheville.

Stellar Media wins prestigious “Rising Star” award
Stellar Media has been named one of 11 notable fast-growth companies in Western North Carolina by the Asheville Chamber of Commerce.
The company was recognized at the chamber’s annual Sky High Growth Awards gala at the Folk Art Center in Asheville on Oct. 25.
Stellar Media is a video and multi-media production company serving the western part of the state with offices in Maggie Valley and Candler. Some of its services include commercial videos, non-profit promotional tools, home and property videos, and Life Story video biographies.
“We’re honored to be recognized for a lot of hard work,” said Eric Larson, company president. “It’s a privilege to find success doing what we love to do, which is making videos that help people become more successful.”
